I'm Dan

Most good photographs happen when people forget there’s a camera in the room. Whether I’m on the side of a stage, out on a trail, or shooting an environmental portrait, I focus on capturing the energy that’s already there rather than forcing a scene.

Coming from a technical career in the automotive industry, I naturally obsess over lighting, contrast, and color balance. But during a session, the technical side stays in the background so the experience stays easy, relaxed, and unforced.
